Descent|OS is an up and coming Linux distribution that is designed with every user in mind.

Whether you are an experienced Linux user, or are new to computers, or someone who just wants a good-looking and functional desktop, Descent|OS can fit your needs.

Currently based on Ubuntu, Descent|OS's mission is to provide an environment everybody can use. Descent|OS utilizes the GNOME 2 Desktop Environment for functionality, and is prettied up and utilized for everyone's needs. We aim to modernize the GNOME 2 desktop as much as possible, and we hope you will enjoy this mix of old and new!
